Circa ’99 was founded in 2017 by Boston Bun as a platform to release music outside of traditional industry codes.
Today, Circa is a community-based label, run mostly live on Twitch, where music is selected, discussed, and released in direct connection with its audience.
Rooted in naive electronic music, Circa focuses on emotion, instinct, and simplicity over strategy or personal branding.
